LM-1VOX - Voice Activated Transmitter

The Covert room transmitter for audio surveillance is voice activated, used to collect conversations, and transmit them to a Radio Receiver. It can be placed in a room or vehicle in order to capture and broadcast audio information or audio evidence for intelligence gathering purposes. Under ideal circumstances, the covert room transmitter can collect audio surveillance outdoors while standing or moving.

This Voice Activated Transmitter or VOX transmitter operates using Narrow FM (NFM). NFM gives off less 'noise' and causes less 'traffic' than other broadcast mediums.

Using a Compander Circuit, the VOX Transmitter is able to transmit excellent sound quality comparable to WFM (Wide FM).

GCOM VOX Transmitters use an effective micro-controller that starts the rf transmission once the voice activation circuit encounters speech or sounds. This is very powerful when every word that is spoken needs to be transmitted. In order to ensure the end of a conversation is transmitted, GCOM Voice Activated Transmitters are built with a long delay before shutting down into its standby mode.

The lithium battery gives the VOX Transmitter a long operating time before replacement is necessary.

The VOX Transmitter offers good operating distances with relatively low power output and power consumption. The VOX Transmitter uses Automatic Gain Control, providing good audio quality despite its operation in the NFM mode.

The VOX Transmitter has built in microcontrollers which enable the Voice Activation feature. The Power (3V) is provided by lithium CR2450 batteries (alternatively by two AA batteries).
