Concealable Transmitters
Concealable Transmitters such as room transmitter surveillance equipment, body wire packs, body wires, voice activated transmitters, man down transmitters, wireless mics, audio tracking transmitters, and self-contained audio surveillance devices can monitor conversations when access to a room is limited. These free-standing units are battery powered and can be installed quickly, or simply dropped anywhere that discovery is unlikely, such as under furniture, behind a book, etc.
A Body Wire is generally placed in a pocket and can be carried from room to room. Body Wires can also be inserted into clothing or taped under clothing for concealed audio surveillance operations.
A Room Transmitter can be left under a table or counter, on top of cabinets or shelving, behind wall mounted paintings or pictures, etc.
Man Down and Tracking Transmitters from GCOM are used to track an individual's location, broadcast distress calls, and transmit audio surveillance conversations.
