Bugging Equipment

Bugging equipment generally consist of room bugs. Using a bugging device, be it covert bugs or a hidden bug, the factor of performance is based on the bugging equipment and the user. Bugging equipment built into hidden bugs will perform best when the user conducts a test before deployment. Bugging equipment requires practice so the user can be sure about proper tactics and operation.

Some bugging equipment may also consist of phone transmitters and mains transmitters. Yet in general, drop transmitters or room bugs are the preferred types of bugging equipment, and can be outfitted with a battery port that is easy to access. This type of bugging device might be used when access to covert bugs is easy to obtain. The installer of the bugging device merely has to conduct periodic tests to determine if the hidden bug or hidden bugs are still active.
