Some law enforcement agencies refer to a body wire as a body wire transmitter or body wire packs. However, not all intelligence agencies consider body wire transmitters as the term used when referring to an industrial law enforcement body wire. Some simply call them wires, in which wearing a body wire pack is simplified to 'wearing a wire'.
